What We’re Learning
READING: starting final story in Book 2, Honey Bees. Students will focus on the long e sound in words (these) and word endings (s, es, ed). Keep practicing High Frequency Words. Most of these words should be VERY familiar to the students.
SPELLING: study new list, pre-test on Thursday.
MATH: started lessons in Topic 8, Tens and Ones. Practice counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s whenever possible.
