REMINDERS:
Friday, March 3rd: Celebrate Dr. Suess’s (Theodore Geisel) birthday here at NSE. Students from Bloomsburg University will be in to complete learning activities, while we read many of this author’s famous stories.
*Our class will be focusing on one story, “Oh The Places You Can Go, throughout the month. Students will be assigned a day to present about a place he/she has travelled to by showing pictures, souvenirs, a poster, etc….
*Book orders due March 10th.
What We’re Learning
READING: testing on story 2, Honey Bees. Keep practicing High Frequency Words. Most of these words should be VERY familiar to the
Students.
*we will begin fluency tests next week. Students will be checked for words per minute and accuracy.
SPELLING: study new list, pre-test on Tuesday, final test Wednesday.
MATH: testing on Topic 8, Tens and Ones.
